Won 5th Circuit federal Court of Appeals case (Bias v TPSB; 816 F.3d 315) where we expanded those who can be sued in False Claims Act lawsuits to include contractors and agents.

Won at 1st Circuit Louisiana Appellate Court & Louisiana Supreme Court (Foster v Bias, 2016 La. App. LEXIS 2408, writ denied, 2017 La. LEXIS 609 (La., Mar. 24, 2017). Courts held my client bullet-proof against defamation when speaking in court proceedings in his status as a private attorney general.

Biography
Chair for 2020 of the Employment Section of the Louisiana Association of Justice; Past chair of the La. State Bar Assoc.Section on Labor & Employment Law in 2013/2014

J.D. from Loyola University College of Law in 2006 (top grades in contracts and legal accounting) and Ph.D. from University of Maryland;  tenured professor in soil fertility and plant nutrition at Louisiana State University before my law career.

Member of National Employment Lawyers Association, Baton Rouge Bar Assoc.; ; La. State Bar Assoc.; American Bar Assoc. and the Louisiana Association of Justice.

I  wrote in the Louisiana Bar Journal in its February, 2014 issue of how far the 5th Circuit will go to protect same-sex discrimination 

Spoke at LSU Employment Law Update in 2012 RE wage claims; participated in latest National Employment Lawyer's Association's conventions in 2018 and 2019.  Attended class on Academic Freedom in the Classroom hosted by AAUP (American Association of University Professors) in 2016 via internet.
